Healthy Business Connexions is beginning a campaign to bring $100 million in funding to support the development of a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease. The company will begin this endeavor in partnership with its connections in the investment community. Healthy Business Connexions is screening Alzheimer’s-related solutions submitted through a ‘Call for Science’ to see to it that the most important, and best, science is funded.

Healthy Business Connexions is partnering with One Million Solutions in Health, a non-profit organization, to petition the US government and investment community to accelerate their financial commitments in Alzheimer’s Disease.

In addition to the above efforts, Healthy Business Connexions will also present the screened solutions to Healthy Business Connexions network of over 5 million members, asking for support.

At the current time, there is no known cure for Alzheimer’s Disease, and it is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. In the next 35 years, the number of people around the world with Alzheimer’s will quadruple!. There needs to be more funding to find better methods of treatment, medications to delay symptoms, and, ideally, to prevent the disease from occurring in the first place.
